Traditional Houses
This traditional Malay house which has the beauty and uniqueness of the architecture of the old community is considered as the shadow design of the Sultanate of Malacca in the 15th century. Most of these traditional houses are built with the best woods and are selected with the concept of home-style, high-rise, ground floor, covered with awning and wide-screen. The original Malay traditional house in Melaka is known as Rumah Melaka, and its long roof shape. In the shape of the roof there are also elements of Bugis, Jambi, Riau and Minangkabau architectural elements, and the tile-coated staircase shows the influence of Chinese architecture.
